Cookie Notice
Effective date: 30 October 2026 · Last updated: 30 October 2026
1. Purpose of this notice
This Cookie Notice explains how Emelo Digital uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, or scripts that recognise a browser or device. We use these technologies only as needed for the current website build described below.
2. Who this notice covers
This notice applies to visitors of the Emelo Digital marketing website. It does not cover cookies that may appear on client websites we design or build for customers under separate engagements; those sites are controlled by the relevant client.
3. Types of cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary / essential cookies
These cookies are required for the website to function securely. Without them, core features such as form submission security may fail.
| Category | Purpose | Examples / notes | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session | Maintain an application session so pages and forms work reliably | Laravel session cookie (name may vary by environment configuration) | Session / limited lifetime per server configuration |
| Security | Help protect forms against cross-site request forgery and related abuse | CSRF / related framework security tokens tied to the session | Aligned with the active session |
Because these cookies are essential to security and basic operation, the site may set them when you visit or interact with forms, even without a separate marketing-consent banner for optional cookies.
3.2 Security / anti-abuse cookies (third party) — Google reCAPTCHA
When Google reCAPTCHA v2 is enabled on our contact form, Google may set cookies or use similar technologies to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic. Google acts as an independent controller for some of that processing and publishes its own terms and privacy documentation. Emelo Digital receives a verification outcome so we can accept or reject the form submission.
If reCAPTCHA is disabled for local testing, those Google cookies will not be required for form use in that environment.
3.3 Analytics, advertising, and social cookies
As of this draft, the Emelo Digital marketing website build does not intentionally load third-party advertising pixels, social tracking plugins, or marketing analytics tags (such as Google Analytics advertising features). If we introduce analytics or advertising technologies later, we will update this Cookie Notice and, where required by law, obtain appropriate consent before non-essential cookies are set.
4. Other technologies
The site may load third-party resources such as web fonts to display typography. Those providers may receive standard technical request data (for example, IP address) when your browser fetches the resource. We select providers that support a professional marketing site and will review them if our stack changes.
5. How you can manage cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Options typically include:
- blocking all cookies;
- blocking third-party cookies only;
- deleting cookies after each session; and
- receiving alerts before a cookie is stored.
If you block essential cookies, parts of the site—especially the contact form—may not work correctly. If you block Google cookies while reCAPTCHA is required, you may be unable to submit an inquiry through the form; you can still email hello@emelodigital.com.
6. Updates
We may update this Cookie Notice when our technologies, vendors, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
