Accessibility Statement
Effective date: 30 October 2026 · Last updated: 30 October 2026
1. Our commitment
Emelo Digital wants visitors—including prospective clients and partners—to be able to learn about our services and contact us without unnecessary barriers. We design this marketing website with clarity, keyboard use, readable contrast, and understandable labels in mind, and we continue to improve it.
This statement describes our accessibility approach for the Emelo Digital public website. It is not a certification of perfect conformance, and it does not replace formal audits that counsel or an accessibility specialist may recommend for regulated contexts.
2. Scope
This statement covers the Emelo Digital marketing website pages we publish (home, about, services, how it works, case studies, FAQ / help, contact, and legal pages). It does not automatically cover third-party embeds we do not control (for example, Google reCAPTCHA widgets) or websites we build for clients under separate projects.
3. Standards we aim for
We aim to align key user journeys with the intent of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, including:
- perceivable text alternatives for meaningful images where provided;
- adaptable structure using semantic headings and landmarks;
- operable navigation by keyboard for primary menus, forms, and disclosure controls;
- understandable labels, error messages, and focus states; and
- robust markup that works with common modern browsers and assistive technologies.
Where motion is used for polish, we intend to respect reduced-motion preferences for non-essential animation where implemented in our styles and scripts.
4. Measures we take
- Use of semantic HTML for navigation, forms, and page structure;
- Visible focus styles on interactive controls;
- Form labels, required-field indicators, and human-readable validation messages;
- Alt text on key marketing images;
- Responsive layouts intended to remain usable across common phone and desktop sizes; and
- Ongoing content review to remove leftover template language and unclear instructions.
5. Known limitations
We recognise areas that may still create friction:
- Third-party reCAPTCHA. When enabled, Google’s widget may present challenges that are difficult for some assistive-technology users. If you cannot complete the form for accessibility reasons, email hello@emelodigital.com and we will help another way.
- Complex visual sections. Marketing layouts with overlapping graphics may need further refinement for certain magnification or contrast scenarios.
- PDF or external assets. If we later publish downloadable files, those assets may require separate remediation.
- Continuous improvement. As pages change, regressions can occur; we treat reported barriers as priority fixes for this public site.
6. Compatibility
The site is intended to work with current versions of major browsers (Chromium-based browsers, Safari, and Firefox) on common desktop and mobile operating systems. Older browsers may receive a degraded but still readable experience.
7. Feedback and assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, please tell us:
- Email: hello@emelodigital.com
- Subject line suggestion: “Website accessibility”
- Helpful details: page URL, device / browser, assistive technology (if any), and what you were trying to do
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within a few business days and to provide a workable alternative (for example, receiving your inquiry by email) while we fix the underlying issue.
8. Formal complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have rights to raise the matter with a relevant equality, human rights, or consumer authority in your jurisdiction. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the issue directly.
9. Updates to this statement
We will revise this Accessibility Statement as the site and our practices evolve. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision.
